Bonni Briggs Honored with Dominican Heritage Award

Bonni Briggs of West Bend was honored with Dominican Heritage Award at the annual Honors Convocation held this spring at Edgewood College.

The Dominican Heritage Award is given to first and second year students who are emerging campus leaders and potential scholars. Their spirits have led them to be involved in academic and campus activities reflecting the Dominican Tradition.

Heritage award recipients demonstrate a participatory spirit related to academic and campus activities; constructive engagement in a particular activity, cause or academic interest on or off campus; whole-hearted energy and positive mindedness; innovative linking of curricular and co-curricular activities; awareness of a cause, courage to act and thoughtful actions; and clear potential for greater leadership or scholarship in the coming years.
